Saw this place on the side of the road with a lineup and knew i had to stop. Lady's working inside are super nice. Got a small Haddock and this was some of the most tender fish & chips I have ever had. I have no idea how they were able to make it this tender. And they kept up with the line they had. Wait time was around 7/8 minutes. Fries were cooked fresh, perfect texture for fish & chips. If I'm ever up this side again will be back.

Top 5 fish & chips I've ever had. We'll be stopping here every time we're in the area. The pickerel was amazing. Tartar sauce, amazing. Fries were great.

We have stopped here for a meal over the years and the quality has remained the same. Great fish. Loved the poutine too. A few tables to sit at. Lots of parking. Can pay with credit/debit now at their bait shop next door. Clean washrooms too. The only negative is they are not the friendliest bunch.

The food was awesome, fast and the staff was friendly. Way less crowded than the place across the street. Across the street they told us that they weren't even going to take any orders for at least 15 minutes because they were too busy and that we would have to wait for another 15-20 minutes for our food so we drove across the street and this place was way less crowded and the food was just as good and I think a little better price.

Good portions, fish tastes really good. Poutine was okay, the sauce was cold but the fries were crispy. I’d come again but only get the fish and chips.

Light, crispy batter and not too greasy either! I had ordered haddock fish and chips which came with chips, side of coleslaw and tarter sauce. Another bonus point is the salt and pepper sachets come on the side so to get to control how little or how much you like to season it. We were lucky when we pulled over as we hardly waited five minutes and the order was ready. Piping hot and delicious! Highly recommended.

Hands down, it's one of the best fish and chips in ontario! They are generous with their portions. My husband and I can't even finish the large size! It was so delicious we even came back to take back home. Store is not hard to find, it's just in front of Shell by 400 N.

We were camping at Grundy and decided to take a day trip exploring the area of Pointe au Baril. The food and service were outstanding. They have picnic tables, which is great. They are right off the hiway, which is why we chose a picnic table away from the road. We ate the large pickerel dinner. It was enough for the two of us to share. The fish was very meaty and delicious! The batter did not leave that film of grease in your mouth like at some other fish and chip places. We did not find it greasy at all. We would definitely go back to visit when in the area.
